5 Centimeters Per Second
As many people know, the Sakura are only in full bloom for a short amount of time, roughly a week. That's why many Japanese people take the time to admire them every year in an event called "Hanami" (literally flower viewing).
It had been such a dull, gloomy week, with all the clouds and rain but today was such a beautiful day. Luckily, we also had a few minutes to spare to admire the Sakura trees!
Here are some of the many photos I took today. I don't know if it fully captures the mood and the gentle beauty of these lovely flowers... but here they are!
