Year End Post

You know him. No? No worries. You will.

Alas! The year is over... Well, soon to be over. Two days left of 2014. This post will not really be about a review of my year, in case that's what you are expecting. In fact, as I'm typing away, I have no concrete idea of what I will be talking about. I just feel like writing my thoughts now, yes... I'm typing as I think.

So I will first talk about the thing that has been preoccupying my mind at the moment. Benedict Cumberbatch. Hahaha.

Crab Nebula in his eyes. How can you not fall in looooooove?!

A few months back, I was all about Norman Reedus. I still love him, but The Walking Dead is in mid-season break and I recently watched all the Sherlock episodes available for viewing.

At first, I didn't really give a damn (sorry, curse word) about Sherlock because Robert Downey, Jr., I was convinced, was THE Sherlock. But I gave it a try... First episode later, I was sucked in and fell in love with Cumberbatch. Ah! And he's not even that attractive. (jk he is super hot, in my eyes at least)

This is him being particularly creepy. Ugh. Gotta love this guy. :D

So there, another TV show I'd be waiting MONTHS for for another season. :( So far, I've got the Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Sherlock. God forbid I start watching another series (Oops, I just remembered I started watching Elementary too--it's another utilization of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novels). I will be infinitely sedentary. :(

Like a lot of my friends and students know, I love movies. I love, love, love movies. I watch whenever I can. Only this year did I start watching TV dramas. And I'm doomed. :|

On another note, it's still quite possible I'd be moving to Japan the coming year. I'm still praying for that every night. This is a change necessary in my life and I badly, badly want it. I'd be getting my license from the PRC office as soon as the holidays are over and push through with VISA application. I'm really hoping this will happen! :)

I have also decided that my brain needs a workout (my body does too, hahaha). I intend to do more enriching activities next year. I started reading about forensic science recently. Most likely because of my obsession with the whole Sherlock thing. But it is quite a fascinating area, actually. Making a career out of it wouldn't have been such a bad thing (considering I have a nursing background).

Anyhow, I'm about to start my next class. Break is over. So... We'll end it here. See you again next time! :)

P.S.
There are lots of things to look forward to in 2015. I will surely embark in a great adventure and I can not wait!
