Nordog Reedus

09/27/13 I posted about getting a new puppy--a Boston Terrier. Of course, long before that, I've been looking for a puppy but never found one (or he never found me)!

I went from Beagle (my puppy love!) to Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute (which are really cool dogs but ones that I sure can not satisfy--activity levels wise) to Boston Terriers. BTs are my dog-match.

My family has had pets ever since I was young. There has never been a point of time in my life when we didn't have a dog. However, I've never really been a "master" or an "alpha" for a dog. I know how special that is as I've seen my mom, my dad and my brother be one. And I want that experience too!!! So, I decided I should get my own dog. ; 3 ; Anyway, long story short, I AM FINALLY GOING TO GET A DOG! 2-3 weeks from now, I'll be taking home my Boston Terrier!!! :D

Now about the title, I am SO CLOSE to naming him like that because... I've recently been obsessed with The Walking Dead star, Norman Reedus. Haha. He is so... Awesome. ; 3 ; I thought it would be funny to name my puppy like that but, in the future, when I'm finally dating Reedus *cough, cough, cough*, it would be so strange to be calling my dog and my boyfriend the same way. HAHAHAHAHA. (Let me friggin' dream ok! >:D) So he probably won't  be named Nordog Reedus (although it's really funny and all that). His name has been sorta decided long before I met him (I won't tell until I've taken him home). I've practiced saying it many times. I've played scenes in my head wherein I call his name and give him all sorts of commands. lol

Anyways, I've been preparing a lot for the pup. I've read a lot about the breed and I'm sure I can never be 100% ready but I'm trying my best. :) I'm really excited about taking my new puppy home! I went to the breeder's house last Saturday for a visit (because you really shouldn't decide to buy a specific dog until you meet him) and took some pics!

He is sooooooo hyperactive. I think I'll have a lot of fun with him! Here he is:

A short clip of him enjoying his toy:

This went on throughout the time I was there. He doesn't run out of energy, it seems! Haha. When he was back in his crate though, he quickly went for a drink. He must have actually tired out but it didn't really show.

Yes, he is lovely. :)

The breeder still has one male and one female available for rehoming at the time of writing this blog post so if you are interested, I don't mind referring you to him! He seems like a great person who truly cares about his dogs (you know, not just trying to make a quick buck!).

Well that's it for now! More Thailand posts next time! Hehehe. ^^

xoxo,
Jona
