The Michiru-chan Cosplay Post!
It was around 2006 or 2007 when I first discovered that the world of cosplaying exists outside of Japan, even in my own country, the Philippines. I quickly became absorbed into this world and did cosplay for a while. I was, however, still a student and was on allowance. Cosplaying is not a cheap hobby so I had to attend events less and less and eventually quit. >_>
When I applied for my job now, I was still a student and mentioned to the boss that one of my hobbies was cosplay. He uploaded this information in my profile and a result, I would sometimes have students asking about it (I teach English). But since I entered the company, there was no more time (although I do earn money now) for me to join events, so there was little to share. >///<
It is more common for me to have students asking about MY cosplaying, But, there would very rarely be students who cosplay themselves!
Today, one of my students, Michiru-chan (not her real name), did a surprise fan-service for me! HAHA. It made me super happy. She taught me how to do her eye make-up and how to put on false eyelashes (yeah, I am clueless as to how to). Thank you Michiru-chan for trying your best to answer all my questions!
Here are some of her cosplays (posted with her permission)! Source: Her blog! <3

Totally awesome right?! And here are some of today's webcam pics from the class. ^^ Too bad you can't see her dress! I made her stand up for me so I can see it. But, if she stands up, her face is hidden! Hehe.

Ah, the joys of teaching! Some students would just really come along and make you happy. And THAT compensates for all the bad experiences you get from others. Lolol
